Morton Arboretum
A large expanse of woodland, lakes and winding paths on the northern edge of the village. On paper it reads as open, softly drawn ground set against the denser streets around it.

La mappa
Lisle Map Poster & Print
Lisle is a village in DuPage County, west of Chicago. On a map, it is organised around a few strong lines. The East Branch of the DuPage River winds through from north to south. The commuter rail line runs east to west through the historic centre, and Interstate 88 cuts across the northern side with its corporate campuses.
The village calls itself the Arboretum Village, because the Morton Arboretum sits on its northern boundary. The arboretum covers roughly 1,700 acres of collections, woodland and trails and has been open to the public since 1922. Benedictine University is also in Lisle, with a campus on the village's east side.
A Lisle map poster shows how varied the suburb is. The curving drives of residential subdivisions sit beside the looping paths of the arboretum, the meandering river and the straight lines of the railway and tollway. Those contrasts give the print more depth than most suburban maps have.

East Branch DuPage River
The river meanders through Lisle with a band of parkland along its course. That green corridor ties the neighbourhoods together from north to south.
Rail and tollway
The Metra line crosses the old village centre, and I-88 runs across the north. Together they draw two strong horizontal lines through the composition.

Perché Lisle
Una mappa che ha un significato
Lisle is a place people settle into: they commute from it, raise families in it and walk its arboretum trails on weekends. A map of the village suits a hallway or home office, or makes a good gift for someone who has just moved out of the area.
Personalise the poster with a family name, a move-in date or the coordinates of a first house. Then choose one of five styles. Printed posters on matte paper, with an optional wooden frame, ship from partners in more than 30 countries.
