La mappa
Luocheng Map Poster & Print
Luocheng is in Qianwei County, in the Leshan area of southern Sichuan. It is best known for its old town, where the main street widens in the middle and narrows at both ends. This gives it a shape often compared to a boat, and its covered walkways run along both sides.
From above, that old street reads as an unusual lens-shaped space among the surrounding buildings. Newer development spreads around it in more regular blocks. The landscape around the town is hilly and green, crossed by roads that follow the easier ground.
A Luocheng map poster makes that distinctive shape the centre of the design. The old street's outline is framed by the newer grid and the open countryside. It works well as a gift for anyone who has visited this unusual corner of Sichuan.

Covered walkways
Long covered arcades line the old street on both sides. They follow its curved edges and give the historic centre its form.
Hills and newer blocks
Around the old town, newer streets form a more regular pattern. Beyond them, low hills and farmland frame the settlement.
