La mappa
Luzilândia Map Poster & Print
Luzilândia sits on the Piauí bank of the Parnaíba River, which here forms the border with the state of Maranhão. The river runs along one side of the map as a wide, curving band, and the town's grid of streets extends back from the water onto the flat land of northern Piauí.
The Parnaíba is the most important element of the composition. Its channel shifts and widens, sometimes with sandbanks or islands, and the opposite shore shows the edge of another state. The town's blocks are fairly regular, with a few longer roads leading inland across the surrounding countryside.
A Luzilândia map poster is essentially a picture of a town and its river. The orderly streets run close to the bank, the water flows in a broad arc, and open land lies beyond. It is simple and clear, with a strong sense of place along one of northeastern Brazil's major rivers.

Perché Luzilândia
Una mappa che ha un significato
A map of Luzilândia means something to anyone who grew up by the Parnaíba, crossed it into Maranhão, or keeps family ties to northern Piauí. The river gives the poster a natural, calm focus.
The title, the subtitle and the coordinates line are yours to edit. You could add a family name or the year you left. Choose from five styles. Blueprint makes the river especially striking.
