Laguna de Bay shore
The shoreline of the country's largest lake forms a long, uneven edge on the map, leaving an expanse of open space that balances the dense streets inland.

La mappa
Mamatid Map Poster & Print
Mamatid is a barangay of Cabuyao in the province of Laguna, part of the Calabarzon region south of Metro Manila. It lies on the south-western shore of Laguna de Bay, the largest lake in the Philippines. From above, the shoreline forms a clear edge along one side of the map, with the settled area stretching inland from the water.
The area has grown rapidly as part of the belt of residential and industrial development that runs south from Manila along the lake. Its street pattern shows this: compact older neighbourhoods near the shore, and newer subdivisions with their own internal road layouts, often looped or ending in cul-de-sacs, fitted into the land between main roads.
A Mamatid map poster contrasts the fine, crowded texture of residential streets with the calm, empty surface of Laguna de Bay. The shoreline runs as a long irregular line, small creeks lead down toward the lake, and larger roads connect the barangay with the rest of Cabuyao and neighbouring towns. It is a map about the meeting of land and water.

Subdivision layouts
Residential developments show their own internal patterns, with loops, dead ends and short parallel streets, giving the poster a varied, almost mosaic-like texture.
Creeks to the lake
Small waterways run through the barangay toward Laguna de Bay, thin irregular lines that break up the street network and trace the gentle slope to the shore.
