La mappa
Miguel Hidalgo Map Poster & Print
Miguel Hidalgo is one of the boroughs of Mexico City, on the western side of the capital, and its map is unusually varied. The largest single feature is the Bosque de Chapultepec, a huge wooded park that fills much of the centre of the borough with lakes, paths and open ground.
North of the park, Polanco has a dense grid of streets lined with shops and restaurants. To the west, Lomas de Chapultepec climbs into the hills along winding roads and cul-de-sacs. Paseo de la Reforma cuts diagonally through the area, and the park holds Chapultepec Castle and the National Museum of Anthropology.
A Miguel Hidalgo map poster makes those contrasts clear: the open expanse of Chapultepec, the tight blocks of Polanco and older neighbourhoods such as Tacubaya, and the organic curves of the hillside districts, all within a single borough.

Paseo de la Reforma
Mexico City's grand avenue runs along the park's edge, a broad diagonal line with roundabouts, and gives the map a strong sense of direction.
Lomas hillsides
In Lomas de Chapultepec, streets follow the ravines and ridges of the western hills, producing long sinuous curves quite unlike the grid of Polanco.
