La mappa
Murrysville Map Poster & Print
Murrysville is a municipality in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, east of Pittsburgh in the hilly country of the Allegheny Plateau. It covers a large area for its population, and the map reflects that. There is no gridded town centre. Instead, roads thread through wooded hills, and residential streets and cul-de-sacs sit in the folds of the land.
Turtle Creek runs through the municipality, and U.S. Route 22, the William Penn Highway, crosses it as the main commercial road. In the late nineteenth century the area was the site of early natural gas wells, part of the story of gas development in western Pennsylvania. Much of the land is still green, with parks and open space between the neighbourhoods.
A Murrysville map poster has an organic, almost hand-drawn feel. Roads bend with the contours, streets end in loops and turnarounds, and the creek adds a slow, meandering line. It is a good choice for anyone who prefers a softer, less geometric composition than a city grid can offer.

Route 22 corridor
The William Penn Highway crosses the municipality as its busiest road and cuts a firmer, straighter line through the softer network of local streets.
Hillside cul-de-sacs
Residential streets climb the slopes and end in rounded turnarounds, creating clusters of small loops that give the poster its distinctive rhythm.

Perché Murrysville
Una mappa che ha un significato
Murrysville is a place where people put down roots: families who have lived in the same house for decades, or couples buying their first home among the trees. A map of its winding streets is a fitting way to mark that.
Add your street name, a family name or a date to the title and subtitle, and fine-tune the coordinates line. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The HD download is $9, or order a framed print.
