Compact town core
The centre of Nharêa is a small cluster of streets. It gives the poster a clear focal point, with the surrounding roads spreading outward from it like loose threads.

La mappa
Nharêa Map Poster & Print
Nharêa is a town in Bié Province, in the heart of Angola's central plateau. It is home to roughly eighteen thousand people. From above, the settlement is modest and compact: a small core of streets surrounded by farmland, scattered homesteads and the tracks that tie them together. The map does not show one dense grid. It shows a loose pattern that thins gradually into the country around it.
The plateau sets the terms here. Bié sits high above the coast, and its landscape is a wide, rolling upland crossed by streams and shallow valleys. On a map, those watercourses show up as thin winding lines, and the roads tend to follow the easier ground between them. Nharêa's layout reflects that quiet negotiation between settlement and terrain, with routes that curve instead of running straight.
A Nharêa map poster turns this sparse geography into a clean black-and-white composition. Because the town is small, the empty space counts as much as the lines. The roads stand out clearly, and the gaps between them read as fields and open land. The result is calm and uncluttered, closer to a drawing than a diagram. It is a fitting way to show a place that most world maps leave out entirely.

Central plateau setting
Bié Province lies on Angola's high inland plateau. Its rolling upland terrain shapes how routes bend and where settlement gathers, and the map picks this up in soft, irregular lines.
Tracks into open country
Beyond the town, minor roads and tracks head out toward farms and villages. On paper they fade into white space, which gives the design its airy, open edges.
