La mappa
Ondo Map Poster & Print
Ondo is one of the older Yoruba towns of southwestern Nigeria and gave its name to Ondo State, although the state capital is nearby Akure. The town lies in gently rolling country with forest and farmland all around. On a map the urban area appears as a compact core, with roads spreading outward in several directions toward neighbouring towns.
The town is the seat of a traditional kingdom whose ruler holds the title Osemawe, and the palace area is part of the historic centre. Ondo is also known as an education town, home to long-established schools and a federal institution for teacher training. The town has grown along its main roads, with newer neighbourhoods extending along them.
An Ondo map poster shows a town shaped by its terrain and its routes rather than by a formal plan. The older quarters are tightly knit and irregular, and the outer districts loosen into longer streets. The surrounding green country leaves wide open areas around the edges. It is a quiet, balanced composition with a strong sense of centre.

Radiating roads
Main routes leave the centre toward Akure, Ore and other towns. They draw long lines outward, and the newer neighbourhoods follow them.
Forest and farmland
Rolling green country surrounds the town, so the built-up area sits clearly within open space. This gives the print a calm, uncluttered frame.
