La mappa
Orizona Map Poster & Print
Orizona lies in the south-east of Goiás, in central Brazil, on the high, gently rolling plateau once covered almost entirely by cerrado savanna. Today much of the land around the town is farmed. On a map, Orizona is a compact grid of streets surrounded by a wide landscape of fields, pasture and winding stream valleys.
The town's layout is modest and orderly, with blocks around a central area and roads leading out into the countryside toward neighbouring municipalities. The watercourses are lined with strips of remaining vegetation, and they cut through the farmland in soft, irregular lines that contrast with the straighter field boundaries.
An Orizona map poster suits people who grew up in the town or keep a family farm nearby. Its composition is simple: a small, dense centre with plenty of open space around it, drawn in fine lines. The effect is calm and understated, much like the rhythm of the place itself.
