La mappa
Ozubulu Map Poster & Print
Ozubulu does not form a single dense centre on the map. Like many towns in Igboland, it is made up of several villages whose compounds, churches, schools and markets spread across the landscape, joined by roads that follow the ground rather than a planned grid. The result is a loose, organic pattern of lanes, clearings and green spaces.
The town lies in Ekwusigo Local Government Area, not far from Nnewi, and main roads link it to the commercial towns of southern Anambra. Between the built-up clusters, farmland and patches of vegetation fill the map, so the poster has a softer texture than a city grid, with streets thinning out and reconnecting as they move from one village to another.
An Ozubulu map poster is a way to hold that geography in one frame: the roads walked on the way to church or market, the quarters that families belong to, the junctions everyone knows. Many people with roots in Ozubulu live and work in other Nigerian cities or abroad, and a map of home carries particular weight for them.

Winding roads
Roads follow the rolling ground rather than a strict grid, curving between settlements and giving the poster an organic, hand-drawn quality.
Green spaces
Farmland and vegetation fill the gaps between built-up areas, leaving broad open spaces that let the street lines breathe across the whole composition.

Perché Ozubulu
Una mappa che ha un significato
A map of Ozubulu speaks to family and belonging. It suits a new house in Lagos or London, a gift for parents, or a reminder of a homecoming for a wedding or a traditional ceremony held in the village.
The title can name the family or the village, the subtitle can hold a date, and the coordinates line can be edited. Five styles are available, from Classic black & white to Paper and Sand, so the print can match the room it will hang in.
