Perling Map Poster
Perling is a residential area on the western side of Johor Bahru, in the state of Johor at the southern tip of Peninsular Malaysia. From above, it is a patchwork of housing estates. Each estate has its own pattern of looping roads, cul-de-sacs and terraced rows, and these are fitted between the main highways that connect the area to the city centre and to Skudai.
The terrain is gently rolling, and some green areas and streams remain between the estates. On the Perling map poster the estate patterns look almost like a collection of different fingerprints. Straight highways cut between them, and the density gradually increases toward the centre of Johor Bahru.
Like much of the Johor Bahru area, Perling grew with the expansion of the city and its close links to Singapore across the Strait of Johor.
