La mappa
Qinggang Map Poster & Print
Qinggang is a county seat in Heilongjiang, China's northernmost province, in the prefecture-level city of Suihua. It lies on the Songnen Plain, an area of level, fertile black soil. On the map, the town's compact street grid is surrounded by rectangular fields and long straight roads.
The landscape of the plain is shaped by agriculture. Large plots of maize and soybeans stretch across the land, divided by drainage ditches and rows of trees planted as windbreaks. These lines create a pattern around the town that is almost as regular as the streets themselves.
Winters here are long and very cold, and summers are short, which gives the region a strongly seasonal agricultural calendar. A Qinggang map poster brings together the town and the fields around it, with the street blocks at the centre and the farmland grid continuing toward the edges of the sheet.

Perché Qinggang
Una mappa che ha un significato
People from Qinggang who now live in larger cities often think back to the flat, open land of home. A map of the town and its fields keeps that picture close.
The title and subtitle can be written in Chinese or English, and the coordinates line is editable. The poster comes in five styles: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
