La mappa
Reforma Map Poster & Print
Reforma lies in the far north of Chiapas, where the state's mountains give way to the low, wet plains that continue into Tabasco. The town is within reach of Villahermosa, and on a map it forms a compact grid of streets surrounded by flat land, pasture and the winding lines of streams and wetlands typical of the Gulf lowlands.
The area became known in the 1970s for oil. Discoveries in the Chiapas and Tabasco region, including fields around Reforma, made it part of one of Mexico's important petroleum zones, and roads, pipelines and industrial sites spread across the surrounding plain. The town itself keeps the regular block pattern common to many Mexican towns.
A Reforma map poster shows a place defined by its flatness. With no hills to bend the streets, the grid runs straight and even, while the curves of water and the long lines of regional roads give the composition its movement. It is a fitting keepsake for people who grew up here or worked in the region's oil industry.

Perché Reforma
Una mappa che ha un significato
Reforma is a town many people arrive in for work, and some end up staying for decades. A map of it can mark those years, a first posting, a family home or the place a career began, in a way a photograph rarely does.
Set your own title, add a subtitle with a date or a name, and keep or edit the coordinates line. Five styles are available, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, as instant HD files for $9 or as a printed poster shipped from partners in 30+ countries.
