La mappa
Rodniki Map Poster & Print
Rodniki is a town in Ivanovo Oblast, northeast of Moscow, in a region long associated with textile manufacturing. The name translates as springs. On a map, the town is compact. A core of streets is laid out in a fairly regular pattern, and residential districts of low-rise housing surround it, with blocks of flats in places.
Like many towns in the Ivanovo region, Rodniki grew around its textile mill, and industry shaped both its economy and its layout. Factory grounds, worker housing and the town centre sit close together. Around the edges, the map shows forest, fields and a small river valley, typical of the gently rolling landscape of central Russia.
A Rodniki map poster presents a modest industrial town with a clear, legible shape. The regular streets, the larger industrial blocks and the open land around them give the print a quiet balance. It suits people with family ties to the town or the wider Ivanovo textile region.
