La mappa
San Pablo Map Poster & Print
San Pablo is a town in the department of Bolívar in northern Colombia, in the lowland country inland from the Caribbean coast. The terrain here is mostly flat, and towns of this area typically grow from a modest central grid around a square, with looser streets running out toward the surrounding fields and pastures.
The land around San Pablo is agricultural, a mix of pasture, crops and patches of woodland, with small streams, ponds and seasonal wetlands common across the plains of northern Bolívar. Roads link the town to neighbouring municipalities and onward toward Cartagena, the departmental capital. From above, the town appears as a tight cluster of blocks in an otherwise open landscape.
A San Pablo map poster draws on that simplicity. The streets form a compact block pattern, country roads leave it in several directions, and thin lines of water break the open space around it. In a minimal black and white style the result is balanced and quiet, a clear picture of a small town of the Caribbean lowlands.

Roads outward
Country roads leave the town in several directions, linking it to neighbouring communities and adding long lines that give the composition its structure.
Lowland water
Streams and small bodies of water scattered across the flat terrain appear as fine shapes around the town, typical of the plains of northern Bolívar.
