La mappa
Sarigerme Map Poster & Print
Sarigerme is a coastal village in Muğla province in south-western Turkey, near Dalaman and its airport. It is known for a long sandy beach backed by pine forest, with a small island, Baba Adası, lying just offshore. The beach is also a nesting site for loggerhead sea turtles, and parts of the shore are protected for that reason.
On a map the coastline dominates. The beach runs as a long, smooth curve, the island sits alone in the water in front of it and the pine forest forms a wide band behind the sand. The village and resort hotels spread inland along a few roads, with their grounds and paths making neat shapes among the trees.
A Sarigerme map poster works well as a holiday keepsake. The strong line of the shore, the small island and the open sea give the print a clear, balanced composition. Hung in a hallway or a bedroom, it recalls long summer days on the Aegean coast without any of the usual holiday imagery.

Baba Adası
The small island just off the beach is the one shape in the water. It gives the composition a clear focal point and anyone who has swum there will recognise it.
Pine-backed shore
Behind the sand, a broad band of pine forest separates the beach from the village and hotels. The map shows it as open space crossed by only a few paths.
