Town core
The oldest streets cluster in a tight, irregular pattern around the centre. It is the densest part of the map and the natural focus of the design.

La mappa
Şarkîkaraağaç Map Poster & Print
Şarkîkaraağaç lies in the eastern part of Isparta province, in the high plateau of Turkey's Lakes Region, not far from Lake Beyşehir. From above it appears as a compact town. The older streets are grouped around the centre, newer housing blocks extend outwards along the main roads, and flat farmland stretches away on the plateau.
The surrounding landscape is agricultural, with fields, orchards and scattered villages linked by long rural roads. Mountains and forest rise towards the south and west. The lakes and uplands of the area give the region its name and much of its character, even where they sit just beyond the town itself.
A Şarkîkaraağaç map poster is a portrait of a quiet Anatolian town: a dense core, roads radiating across open land, and the calm of the plateau around it. The map is simple without being empty, and it is recognisable to anyone who knows the streets.

Radiating roads
Main roads leave town towards the lake, neighbouring towns and the provincial routes, drawing long lines across the plateau from the edge of the grid.
Plateau farmland
Fields and orchards surround the town on flat, high ground. They are drawn with light lines that set the settlement clearly within its landscape.
