La mappa
Severoural’sk Map Poster & Print
Severoural’sk lies in the far north of Sverdlovsk Oblast, on the eastern slopes of the Ural Mountains. From above, it is a clearing in dense forest. A compact grid of residential streets follows a river valley, and industrial sites and roads reach out into the surrounding taiga.
The town grew around bauxite mining, and its layout shows that history. There is a planned Soviet-era centre with straight avenues and regular apartment blocks, and a looser edge of older wooden houses and service roads leading toward the mines. The contrast between geometric town and unbroken woodland makes for a strong black-and-white image.
A Severoural’sk map poster suits anyone connected to the northern Urals: miners and their families, people who grew up here, or travellers drawn to the region's rivers and ridges. The map keeps things simple, with streets, water and the hard line where settlement gives way to forest.

River valley
A river threads through the town and shapes its outline, with streets bending to follow the valley floor.
Taiga edge
Forest presses in on all sides, so the town appears as a clear island of lines inside a wide, empty field.
