The route between Isfahan and Shiraz runs through the town. This long line organises the street network and connects the older centre with the newer districts.

La mappa
Shahreẕā Map Poster & Print
Shahreẕā lies in Isfahan Province, south of the city of Isfahan on the main route toward Shiraz. It sits on a high, dry plain framed by the ridges of the Zagros. From above, the town stretches along its main roads, with a mix of older irregular lanes and newer straight blocks. Beyond the built-up area, orchards and fields form a patchwork against the bare land.
For centuries the town was known as Qomsheh. Its present name comes from the shrine of Shah Reza, an Imamzadeh whose domed complex is still a focal point of the town. Shahreẕā has long been a stopping place for travellers between Isfahan and Shiraz, and its layout still reflects that role, with the main road forming a strong spine through the centre.
A Shahreẕā map poster captures an Iranian plateau town in clean outline: the long spine of the main road, the knot of older streets around the shrine and the geometry of irrigated land at the edges. The empty land around it gives the composition a spare, graphic quality that works especially well in the Paper and Sand styles.

Shrine quarter
Around the shrine of Shah Reza, older lanes gather in a denser, less regular pattern. This is the historic heart that gives the town its name.
Irrigated margins
At the edges of town, orchards and fields form rectangular parcels that stand out sharply against the open, dry plateau beyond.
