La mappa
Slavuta Map Poster & Print
Slavuta lies in the north of Khmelnytskyi Oblast in western Ukraine, on the Horyn River. The river runs past the town through a green, partly marshy valley with ponds along its course. The town spreads mainly along the river, with a central area of older streets and residential districts extending toward the pine forests that surround it.
From the eighteenth century Slavuta was the seat of the Sanguszko princely family, whose estate shaped the town's growth. In the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries it was also known for its Hebrew printing house, which produced a celebrated edition of the Talmud. Today the town is associated with local industry and the forest landscape around it.
A Slavuta map poster shows a town defined by river and forest. The Horyn draws a winding line through the composition, and the streets gather along it, while large wooded areas appear as quiet spaces around the edges. The railway and main roads add a few straight lines to this otherwise organic layout.

Forest edges
Pine forests surround Slavuta and appear on the map as large areas free of streets, which give the poster wide, calm margins on every side.
Railway and main roads
The railway and main roads cross the town in long straight lines, linking it with neighbouring towns and giving a clear structure to the organic street pattern.
