Delta canals
Irrigation channels fed by the Krishna cross the area in long lines. They are among the most distinctive features of the map and of the whole delta.

La mappa
Tādigadapa Map Poster & Print
Tādigadapa is a town in Andhra Pradesh on the eastern edge of Vijayawada. It lies in the fertile Krishna delta, a landscape of rice fields, coconut palms and irrigation canals fanning out from the river. From above, the town mixes older village clusters with newer residential layouts spreading across former farmland.
As Vijayawada has grown steadily outward, Tādigadapa has become one of the places where city and countryside meet. Apartment blocks and new residential plots sit beside paddy fields and the canals that have watered the delta since the nineteenth century, when the Krishna was first dammed at Vijayawada to feed a large network of channels.
A Tādigadapa map poster captures that meeting point clearly. The straight lines of canals and field boundaries run through the map, new streets cut regular grids into the fields, and older settlement clusters show a denser, more irregular pattern. It is a portrait of a suburb taking shape, drawn with the clarity of a technical plan.

New layouts
Recently developed residential plots form neat rectangular grids on former farmland, and their regular geometry marks the city's steady eastward expansion.
Village clusters
Older settlements appear as compact, irregular clusters of houses and lanes, a denser texture that contrasts with the planned streets around them.
