Curving streets
Residential roads bend with the contours of the land, giving Tekwane a flowing street pattern rather than a strict grid.

La mappa
Tekwane Map Poster & Print
Tekwane is a township near Mbombela in South Africa's Mpumalanga province, set in the rolling country of the Lowveld. From above, its streets show the pattern of planned residential development: long, curving roads lined with regular plots, forming neighbourhoods that follow the slope of the land. Open ground and bush separate the township from nearby settlements.
The area is part of the wider Mbombela region, connected by road to the city centre and to neighbouring townships such as KaNyamazane. The Lowveld climate is warm, and the surrounding landscape is green, with hills and valleys that give the map gentle variation. Schools, churches and community spaces appear as larger shapes among the housing.
A Tekwane map poster shows neighbourhoods drawn in fine, curving lines, with open land around them. The pattern is rhythmic and orderly, a clear record of a place that is home to many families near Mbombela.
