La mappa
Tianpeng Map Poster & Print
Tianpeng is the central town of Pengzhou, a county-level city under Chengdu in Sichuan Province. It lies on the northwestern edge of the Chengdu Plain, where the flat farmland begins to rise toward the Longmen Mountains. From above, the town shows a dense urban grid with newer districts spreading outward and a network of rivers and channels crossing the land.
The Chengdu Plain has long been watered by an ancient irrigation system, and the map reflects that heritage: channels and streams run across the landscape in parallel lines, dividing fields and connecting settlements. Pengzhou is also known for its peonies, and the mountains to the northwest give the area a greener, more varied setting than the heart of the plain.
A Tianpeng map poster captures a town at the meeting point of plain and mountain. The dense grid of the centre, the fine lines of waterways and the open farmland around it create a rich, detailed composition. It is a meaningful image for those from Pengzhou or with ties to the Chengdu area.

Irrigation channels
Rivers and channels cross the surrounding land in long parallel lines, part of the plain's historic irrigation network, adding fine detail to the map.
Toward the mountains
To the northwest, the Longmen foothills rise above the plain, and the map shows the street network thinning out as the terrain changes.
