Time is a municipality in the Jæren district of Rogaland, on the southwest coast of Norway. Its centre is the town of Bryne, which grew up around a station on the Jæren railway line. From above, Bryne forms a compact grid of streets on either side of the tracks. Around it, the unusually flat Jæren landscape opens out into farms, fields and small clusters of houses.
Jæren is one of Norway's most important farming regions, and on the map the land around Bryne is divided into long fields, farm roads and stone-walled boundaries. To the west, the land runs down to the North Sea coast with its long sandy beaches. Bryne is also well known in Norwegian football, and it is where Erling Haaland grew up and played as a youth.
