La mappa
Tuggeranong Map Poster & Print
Tuggeranong is the southernmost town centre of Canberra. It fills a valley between the Murrumbidgee River to the west and ranges of hills to the east. It was planned from the 1970s onwards. On the map, it shows the typical pattern of Canberra suburbs, with looping streets, crescents and cul-de-sacs grouped around local centres. Wide parkways link them.
At its heart is Lake Tuggeranong, a man-made lake with the town centre on its shore. Hills such as Mount Taylor rise to the north, and the Tuggeranong Parkway runs through the valley. To the west, the Murrumbidgee corridor and the Brindabella Ranges beyond give the district a clear natural edge.
A Tuggeranong map poster shows planned growth set neatly into a landscape. The suburbs form curved, cellular shapes, open space and hills separate them, and the lake sits in the middle. It is quite different from an older grid city. The print shows how Canberra was designed to follow the land, with everything fitted around the terrain.

Perché Tuggeranong
Una mappa che ha un significato
Tuggeranong is home to many Canberra families, and a map of the valley is a good way to mark a first house or a childhood suburb. You can add a family name, a street name or the year to the title and subtitle.
Pick from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Blueprint suits Canberra's planned character. Sand gives the dry hills and valley a warm tone.
