La mappa
Umred Map Poster
Umred lies south-east of Nagpur in the Vidarbha region of Maharashtra. From above, it has a compact old centre of lanes and markets, with newer residential areas spreading more loosely around it. A large tank sits close to town, and fields, scattered villages and roads towards Nagpur and the surrounding district make up the wider picture.
The area is known for coal. Opencast mines lie near town and appear on the map as broad, geometric workings cut into the landscape. Not far away is the Umred Karhandla Wildlife Sanctuary, a forested area known for its tigers, which is part of the wider landscape linking Vidarbha's protected forests.
An Umred map poster shows several layers at once: a dense town core, a water tank, open farmland and the bold shapes of mining land. It is an honest picture of a working Vidarbha town, and it suits anyone who grew up here, works in the region or has family in the district.

Roads to Nagpur

Perché Umred
Una mappa che ha un significato
Umred is home, a workplace or a family place for many people across Vidarbha. A map of its streets and surroundings is a personal print that does not need a famous skyline to matter.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line in Marathi or English, then choose one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Noir gives the map a bold, graphic look.
