Forest clearing
The settlement sits in open ground surrounded by woodland. On the poster this gives a clear boundary: a built-up grid inside, and a broad blank field of forest all around it.

La mappa
Uva Map Poster & Print
Uva is a settlement in the Udmurt Republic, west of Izhevsk. It is the administrative centre of its district. On the map, it looks like a clearing surrounded by forest. Streets of low houses are laid out in plain rectangular blocks, and dark woods press in from every side. The contrast between cleared ground and forest is the main feature of any view from above.
A railway runs past the settlement. Its long, gently curving line makes a strong mark across the grid of streets. Beyond it are smaller roads, field edges and tracks that lead into the forest. Rural Udmurtia is mostly forest broken up by settlements and farmland, and Uva fits that pattern clearly.
A Uva map poster shows this at a scale where individual streets can be read. You can see the tidy blocks of the settlement, the railway, and the ring of woodland around it all. The result is a spare, quiet composition. It suits someone who grew up in the district or who keeps family ties to this part of the Volga-Urals region.

Railway line
The railway sweeps past the settlement in a long, smooth curve. It is the strongest single line on the map, and it tells you how Uva connects to the wider region.
Rectangular blocks
Streets of mostly low-rise houses form simple rectangular blocks. This gives the centre an orderly look that stands out against the irregular rural roads further out.
