Field-line streets
Many lanes run straight along the edges of former farm plots. This gives the outskirts a strong, regular geometry that stands out against the open ground around them.

La mappa
Vaḩīdīyeh Map Poster & Print
This Vaḩīdīyeh is a town in Shahriar County, on the broad plain west and south-west of Tehran. It is one of several growing settlements in an area where farmland sits alongside new residential districts. On a map the town appears as a compact cluster of streets, surrounded by a patchwork of fields and walled gardens.
The land here is flat, so property lines and old farm plots shape the street pattern more than the terrain does. Straight lanes follow the boundaries of former fields, and main roads link the town with Shahriar and neighbouring communities. Tree-lined plots and field boundaries, long part of farming on the Tehran plain, give the outskirts their fine texture.
A Vaḩīdīyeh map poster from this part of Tehran Province looks quite different from the dense capital nearby. There is more open space, more straight geometry and a clearer edge between town and countryside. The composition feels spacious, with the built-up area at the centre like a small island among fields.

Links to Shahriar
Main roads connect the town with Shahriar and other settlements across the plain. On the poster they are the strongest lines, tying the small grid into the wider region.
Open plain
Fields and orchards fill the space around the town. They leave generous empty areas on the map, which give the street pattern room and the print a light, open feel.
