Old village cores
The historic centres of the former villages keep their curved, irregular streets and stand out clearly within the newer layout.

La mappa
Vellmar Map Poster & Print
Vellmar is a town in northern Hesse, directly north of Kassel. It was formed in the 1970s when several neighbouring villages merged, and the map still shows that origin. Several older cores with curving village streets are linked by newer residential districts and surrounded by fields and woodland.
From above, the town reads as a series of connected clusters rather than one centre. Main roads run toward Kassel in the south, quiet cul-de-sacs fill the residential areas, and farmland and green strips separate the parts of town. A small stream valley runs through the landscape.
A Vellmar map poster shows the texture of a German suburban town in detail. You can see the old village lanes and the planned post-war streets side by side. It is a calm, balanced composition, with the edge of Kassel appearing at the frame.

Residential crescents
Post-war and later housing areas are laid out in loops and cul-de-sacs, adding a gentle, rounded pattern to the poster.
Green separations
Fields and wooded strips still divide parts of the town and leave open space between the built-up clusters.

Perché Vellmar
Una mappa che ha un significato
Vellmar is where many people from the Kassel area chose to build a home and raise children. A map of its streets marks that choice and fits naturally in a hallway, a family room or a new-home gift.
Personalise the title, add a subtitle such as a moving-in date or a street name, and include the coordinates. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
