La mappa
Victoria-Fraserview Map Poster & Print
Victoria-Fraserview is a residential neighbourhood in southeast Vancouver. Like much of the city, it is organised on a regular grid of long straight streets, and on a map the pattern is immediately clear: neat rows of houses divided by avenues running north and south and east and west.
To the south the ground slopes toward the Fraser River, which forms the neighbourhood's lower boundary and cuts a broad line across the bottom of the map. Fraserview Golf Course takes up a large green area in the east, its winding fairways standing out against the straight residential blocks around it.
A Victoria-Fraserview map poster shows a quieter side of Vancouver, away from the downtown peninsula. The grid, the river edge and the open space of the golf course and parks make a balanced composition, and the neighbourhood's name comes from two of its defining features: Victoria Drive and its view over the Fraser.

Fraser River edge
The Fraser runs along the southern boundary, a wide line of water that marks the end of the city grid and the start of the river flats.
Fraserview Golf Course
The golf course's curving fairways and open land create a large, softer area in the east of the map, breaking the rhythm of the grid.
