Zabré is a town in the Centre-Est region of Burkina Faso, close to the country's southern border with Ghana. On a map it appears as a cluster of streets and compounds where several roads meet. The built area loosens quickly into fields and scattered homesteads across the flat savanna.
The country around it is farmland shaped by a single rainy season, and the map reflects that openness: long unpaved roads, footpaths between settlements, and seasonal watercourses draining toward the larger rivers of the Volta basin.
