Ammi Moussa is a town in Relizane Province in northwestern Algeria, in the foothills of the Ouarsenis mountains. The terrain is uneven, cut by valleys and ravines, and from above the town's layout follows the land: streets climb and bend, and the built area stretches along more level ground between slopes.
Around the town, the landscape opens into agricultural land and hills, with watercourses running through the valleys. Roads connect Ammi Moussa with Relizane and other communities in the region, drawing long lines across the countryside. The town centre is denser, with newer neighbourhoods spreading along the roads and onto surrounding ground.
