Aradippou is one of the largest municipalities in the Larnaca District of Cyprus, a short distance inland from Larnaca and its bay. From above you can see two layers of growth: a tight, irregular historic centre typical of Cypriot villages, and newer, more regular residential areas spreading out across the surrounding plain.
Major roads linking Larnaca with Nicosia and the rest of the island pass close by, and their broad, sweeping curves stand out against the smaller local streets. Farmland and open ground still surround much of the town, so the built area has a clear, readable outline.
