Ārvi is in Wardha district, in the Vidarbha region of eastern Maharashtra. The landscape here is mostly agricultural, and cotton has long been one of its main crops. On a map the town is a compact cluster of lanes and small blocks, with roads leaving from the core towards surrounding villages and district towns.
From above, the structure is easy to read. The older centre has the tightest weave of streets, where markets and commercial lanes gather. Newer residential areas spread outward along the main roads in looser, more regular patterns, and beyond them open field boundaries take over. The contrast between dense town and wide farmland is especially clear in monochrome.
