Mile-section grid
Arterial roads run about a mile apart in both directions. They divide the city into large squares that frame the curving neighbourhood streets inside them.

Aurora Map Poster & Print
Aurora, Colorado, stretches east from Denver across the high plains and covers parts of three counties. From above, it is dominated by the American section grid: major arterials spaced about a mile apart, with the squares between them filled by curving subdivision streets, cul-de-sacs and parks. Toward the east, the grid opens up into undeveloped prairie, and new neighbourhoods keep advancing into it.
Water and open space break the pattern. Cherry Creek State Park and its reservoir sit on the city's south-western side, and Aurora Reservoir lies farther east. In the north-west, the former Fitzsimons Army base has become the Anschutz Medical Campus, a large academic and hospital complex. Highways such as I-70, I-225 and E-470 trace long lines across the sheet.
An Aurora map poster reads almost like a diagram of suburban growth. The older parts near Denver are finer and denser, and the grid loosens as it moves east. The mile-square arterial pattern gives the whole print a strong underlying order, while the looping residential streets inside each square add texture.

Reservoirs and parks
Cherry Creek and Aurora reservoirs form broad open shapes within the suburban fabric. They give the map its main areas of calm.
Anschutz campus
Former military grounds in the north-west now hold a large medical campus. Its big buildings and internal roads stand out from the surrounding residential blocks.

Auroraを選ぶ理由
想いが詰まった地図
Aurora is the kind of city people move to, settle in and raise families in, which makes it a meaningful map for a first home or a new chapter east of Denver.
Add your street, your move-in year or the coordinates of your house to the title lines. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint emphasises the gridded structure.
