The Gandak channel
A wide, braided river with pale sandbars and split channels. On the poster it becomes a set of soft, overlapping strokes rather than one clean line.

Bagaha Map Poster & Print
Bagaha sits in the far north of Bihar, in West Champaran district, where the Gangetic plain starts to rise toward the Himalayan foothills. On a map, the town is a compact knot of lanes and roads. Around it lies a flat patchwork of fields, with village clusters spread across it at fairly even intervals.
The strongest line in the area is the Gandak River. It runs as a broad, shifting channel with sandbars and side streams, and its banks change from one season to the next. In black and white, that loose river pattern contrasts well with the straighter roads and rail line that link Bagaha to the rest of the district.
A Bagaha map poster shows a place defined by the land around it: river, farmland, and the forested edges of the north. The Valmiki Tiger Reserve lies nearby, toward the Nepal border. The result is a spare, open composition, with the town itself at the centre of quiet surrounding space.

Plains road network
Roads and a rail line run out from the town across flat farmland, forming a simple frame of connections between Bagaha and neighbouring settlements.
Northern forest edge
Toward the Nepal border the fields give way to the forests of the Valmiki reserve. There the map empties out into large, calm areas with little linework.

Bagahaを選ぶ理由
想いが詰まった地図
For people from Bagaha, or anyone with family in West Champaran, the map is a reminder of home that doesn't rely on photographs. It shows the relationship between town, river and fields, which is how many people remember it.
You can set the title, subtitle and coordinates line to a family name, a date or a village you want to remember. Then choose one of five styles, Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, to suit the room it will hang in.
