Beidou Map Poster & Print
Beidou is a township in the south of Changhua County, on the flat, intensively farmed plain of western Taiwan. The town centre is compact, with a knot of older streets surrounded by newer blocks. Beyond it, a network of straight roads and channels divides the land into small, regular fields.
The town has long served as a market centre for the surrounding farmland, and it is widely known in Taiwan for its version of ba-wan, the translucent stuffed dumpling. The large Zhuoshui River flows across the plain to the south, marking the border between Changhua and Yunlin.
