Chhoti Sādri is in southern Rajasthan, in the Mewar country near the state line with Madhya Pradesh. On a map the old town shows up as a dense cluster of irregular lanes. It has a clearly traditional core, with narrow streets that bend and fork rather than run in grids. Newer roads branch outward from it, linking the town to villages and to the district roads beyond.
