Village core
The original centre is still visible as a small cluster of denser streets, older and more irregular than the planned districts built around it.

Colomiers Map Poster & Print
Colomiers lies just west of Toulouse, in the Haute-Garonne department of Occitanie. It was a small village until the second half of the twentieth century, when it grew rapidly into a planned suburban town. On a map both stages are visible: a compact older core, and around it the curving streets, housing estates and green spaces of the newer districts.
The town is closely tied to the Toulouse aerospace industry, and large industrial sites and the airport zone lie on its eastern side. A Colomiers map poster captures that contrast between the residential neighbourhoods threaded with parks and the broad, open plots of industry and transport toward the city.
A railway line runs through the town toward Toulouse, and a small stream winds through green corridors between the districts. In black and white, the suburban plan becomes a pattern of loops, cul-de-sacs and open lawns, with the straighter lines of rail and main roads holding it all together.

New town districts
Postwar neighbourhoods spread out in curving streets and closes, with parks and open spaces laid out between housing groups as part of the plan.
Toward the airport
To the east, large industrial and aviation sites bring wide, open shapes to the map, a reminder of the town's link to the aerospace industry.

Colomiersを選ぶ理由
想いが詰まった地図
A Colomiers poster suits people who have worked in Toulouse aerospace, raised a family in the suburbs or remember the town from before the growth. It is a personal map of a place that rarely gets its own.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be edited to show a street, a date or a name. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, as a $9 HD file or as a printed poster with an optional wooden frame.
