Downtown grid
The historic centre is a tight grid built around Main Street. Its compact blocks make a dense, structured core for the composition.

Denison Map Poster & Print
Denison was founded in 1872 as a stop on the Missouri–Kansas–Texas Railroad, and its map still reflects that. A tight grid of streets centres on Main Street and the old rail corridor, then gives way to looser suburban patterns at the edges. To the north, the land slopes toward the Red River, which marks the border with Oklahoma.
The town is best known as the birthplace of Dwight D. Eisenhower, whose childhood home is preserved as a historic site. Just north and west lies Lake Texoma, a large reservoir formed by Denison Dam on the Red River. Its branching shoreline adds a dramatic edge to any wider view of the area.
A Denison map poster sets the orderly downtown grid against that watery northern margin. You get straight blocks, diagonal rail lines and the jagged outline of the lake. The result is part frontier railroad town and part lakeside landscape, recorded in clean black lines.

Rail corridor
Tracks from the town's railroad years cut across the street pattern at an angle. They are a reminder of why Denison exists.
Lake Texoma edge
The reservoir's many coves and inlets create a complex shoreline to the northwest, which contrasts strongly with the regular town grid.
