Arabian Sea shore
A straight, sandy coastline forms one edge of the map, giving the poster a clean line along which the settlement is arranged.

Edakkazhiyūr Map Poster & Print
Edakkazhiyūr lies on the coast of Thrissur district in central Kerala, north of Chavakkad. Like much of this shoreline, it occupies a long, narrow strip of sandy land. The Arabian Sea is on one side and backwaters, canals and rice paddies are on the other, and the settlement follows that shape closely.
From above, the map shows a band of houses set among coconut palms, with lanes running inland from the main coastal road toward the water behind. There is no dense grid. Buildings are spread fairly evenly along the strip, and the map's lines are shaped by the beach, the road and the inland channels.
This coast is known for its fishing communities and its dense, semi-rural settlement, where one village runs into the next with hardly a gap. An Edakkazhiyūr map poster captures that long, narrow form shaped by water, with the sea on one side and the quieter inland waters on the other.

Coastal road
The main road runs parallel to the shore, and short lanes branch off toward the beach and the inland waterways, forming a ladder-like pattern.
Inland waters
Behind the coastal strip, canals, backwaters and low-lying fields appear as softer shapes on the other side of the narrow band of land.

Edakkazhiyūrを選ぶ理由
想いが詰まった地図
Many families from this part of Kerala work in the Gulf or further afield, and a map of the home village means a lot on the wall. It is also a distinctive coastal composition.
Add your own title and a subtitle with a family name or date, and adjust the coordinates line. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Blueprint turns the sea and waterways into a crisp, graphic study.
