Erandol is a town in the Jalgaon district of Maharashtra, part of the historic Khandesh region in the north of the state. From above, it shows a compact older centre where lanes are tight and irregular, with more open, straighter streets added along the main roads as the town has expanded.
The land around it is largely agricultural and mostly flat, divided into fields that give the edges of the map a fine rectangular texture. Highways and district roads pass through or near the town, connecting it with Jalgaon and other centres of the region, and these form the strongest lines on the sheet.
