Traditional centre
The heart of Eruwa is a close, irregular network of streets and compounds that grew over time. At poster scale it forms a rich, textured core.

Eruwa Map Poster & Print
Eruwa lies in the Ibarapa area of Oyo State in southwestern Nigeria, a region of rolling savanna and farmland. On a map the town has a dense, irregular centre. Main roads lead out from it to nearby communities, and the built-up area thins toward the surrounding fields.
The town is the headquarters of the Ibarapa East local government area and serves as a centre for the farming communities around it. Like many Yoruba towns, it grew around a traditional core, with compounds and streets forming an organic network rather than a planned grid.
An Eruwa map poster shows that pattern clearly. The streets are close together in the old centre, the main roads give the town its direction, and at the margins the fields and farm tracks form open, lighter space.

Radiating roads
Main roads run outward from the centre to other Ibarapa towns. They give the map a clear set of directions.
Savanna farmland
Around the town the land opens into farms and fields crossed by paths. The poster lightens toward its edges here.
