Ferizli sits in the northern part of Sakarya province, a short drive north of Adapazarı, on the broad lowland that the Sakarya River has shaped over a very long time. From above, the town is modest and fairly level. It has a central grid of streets and a scatter of civic buildings, with roads running out in straight lines toward villages and fields.
Beyond the built-up edge the pattern changes quickly. Field boundaries, irrigation lines and farm tracks take over, and the map becomes a quilt of thin divisions rather than dense blocks. The district is also known in the region for its organised industrial zone, which appears as a cluster of large, regular plots set apart from the older residential streets.
