Georgetown Map Poster & Print
Georgetown is the seat of Scott County in the Bluegrass region of Kentucky, just north of Lexington. Its historic core is a small grid centred on the courthouse square, and from above the town spreads out into newer neighbourhoods, industrial areas and the gently rolling horse-farm country that defines this part of the state.
The town grew around Royal Spring, a natural spring that still feeds a small park near downtown. Georgetown is also home to Georgetown College, one of the older colleges in Kentucky, and to a large Toyota vehicle manufacturing plant, which has shaped the town's growth and economy for decades.
A Georgetown map poster shows the layers of a Kentucky town that has expanded outward from its square.
