Gunzenhausen Map Poster & Print
Gunzenhausen lies on the Altmühl river in Middle Franconia, Bavaria. On a map the old town forms a compact oval of streets near the river, surrounded by later neighbourhoods. Just northwest of town lies the Altmühlsee, a large reservoir created as part of the Franconian Lake District, and its broad shape gives the map a dominant feature.
The town has a long history. The Roman frontier known as the Limes, now part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site, passes through the area, and the town centre keeps parts of its medieval walls and towers. Today the Altmühlsee has made Gunzenhausen a popular base for sailing, cycling and walks along the water.
A Gunzenhausen map poster frames the old town, the river and the lake together. The tight medieval streets contrast with the open lake and the fields around it, and the embankments and paths around the shore draw clean curves. It is a well-balanced map, with both a historic core and a strong natural feature.

Gunzenhausenを選ぶ理由
想いが詰まった地図
Anyone who has sailed on the Altmühlsee, cycled around it or grown up in the old town will recognise this map immediately. It makes a good gift for a holiday apartment or for family members who have moved away from Franconia.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, for example with a wedding date by the lake. Blueprint shows off the water well, and all five styles are available as $9 downloads or printed posters.
