Kodur Map Poster & Print
Kodur lies in Malappuram district in northern Kerala, not far from Malappuram town. Like much of this part of the state, it doesn't have a sharply defined centre. Instead, homes and small clusters of shops spread along roads and lanes through a landscape of low hills, coconut palms and paddy fields.
The map reflects that dispersed pattern. Roads curve along the tops of ridges and wind down into the valleys, where rice fields and small streams create open, flat areas. The built-up area thins out gradually rather than ending at a clear edge.
Malappuram district has a long history of migration to the Gulf, and many local families have members working abroad. A Kodur map poster shows the everyday geography of home: winding lanes, green hills and low-lying fields that are instantly familiar to anyone from the area.

Paddy valleys
Flat rice fields fill the low ground between hills, appearing as open areas on the map that interrupt the network of lanes.
Dispersed settlement
Instead of a dense core, homes spread evenly along roads and lanes, giving the poster a loose, organic texture.
