Konéfla is a town in the Sassandra-Marahoué district of central-western Ivory Coast, in the belt where forest gives way gradually to more open country. Agriculture shapes the area, with cocoa, coffee and food crops grown on the surrounding land, and the town serves as a local hub for the villages and farms nearby.
On a map, Konéfla has the informal structure of a regional market town. Main roads run through it, and the neighbourhoods extend outward from them in irregular blocks. Unpaved streets and tracks connect houses, markets and schools, and at the edges the built-up area loosens into gardens and fields, so the town's outline stays soft rather than sharply defined.
