Kunnimangalam Map Poster & Print
Kunnimangalam lies on India's south-western Malabar coast, in rolling country a short distance inland from the Arabian Sea. It does not look like a compact town on a map. Houses are spread along roads and lanes that follow the gentle rise and fall of the laterite land, with trees and gardens between them.
That loose pattern is typical of this coast. Settlement runs continuously along the roads instead of clustering in a tight core. The main roads carry the larger shops and institutions, and smaller lanes branch off to homes set among coconut palms. Rivers and backwaters are never far away in this part of India, and they add soft curving lines to a wider frame.
A Kunnimangalam map poster captures a landscape where town and countryside blend into one another. The street network looks like fine threads laid over hilly ground. It prints as a delicate, airy design, very different from the dense grid of a larger city, and that difference is what gives it character.

Winding lanes
Smaller lanes follow the contours of the laterite hills, bending and branching in ways that give the map an organic texture.
Near the coast
The Arabian Sea lies a short way to the west, and the rivers and creeks of the region can appear at the edges of a wider view.

Kunnimangalamを選ぶ理由
想いが詰まった地図
Many families from this coast have members working in the Gulf or in cities across India. A map of home is a meaningful thing to hang on a wall far from the palms and the monsoon, and a thoughtful gift for someone who left.
Set your own title, subtitle and coordinates, such as a family house name or a special date. Then choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
