Lake Lugano Map Poster & Print
Lake Lugano straddles the border between Switzerland and Italy, and its outline is one of the most irregular in the Alpine region. Instead of a single basin it bends through a series of narrow arms, turning back and forth between steep mountainsides, so that from above it looks almost like a lightning bolt.
The city of Lugano spreads along a bay on the northern shore, with Monte San Salvatore and Monte Brè rising on either side. Near Melide a low causeway crosses the lake, carrying both road and railway, and it divides the water into distinct sections on the map.
One curiosity sits on the eastern shore: Campione d'Italia, a small Italian exclave surrounded by Swiss territory. A Lake Lugano map poster makes room for all of these turns, bays and borders in one compact, tightly drawn composition.

Lugano bay
The city's streets curve around a wide bay framed by two mountains, the densest area of detail anywhere on the lake.
Campione d'Italia
On the eastern shore a small Italian enclave is surrounded by Swiss territory, a border oddity set right on the water's edge.

Lake Luganoを選ぶ理由
想いが詰まった地図
Lugano appeals to people who know the Ticino region, whether through work in the city, a holiday by the lake or family on either side of the border. Its angular shape gives a poster a strong, unusual silhouette.
Personalise the title and subtitle, perhaps with a village name and year, and set the coordinates line to a meaningful spot. Five styles are available, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, and printed posters come on matte paper with an optional wooden frame.
